Temperature Sensing that Meets Your Application Requirements The intelliPANEL ™ system offers four selectable control algorithms: single loop PID, Delta T (differential), cascade process to sheath, and cas- cade outlet to sheath. These options include selectable manual or auto tuning.
The advanced intelliPANEL ™ design provides standard panel ratings from <100 to 1200 amps with voltage ranges of 208 to 600 Vac, three-phase power. In addition to the IntelliPANEL ™ central control unit, the patented Chromalox ® MaxPac SCR power con- troller, featuring built-in power distribution, selectable single/three-cycle resolution, an electronic heat sink temperature monitoring and warning system, provides uniform heating with Chromalox ® DOT variable-time- base firing to insure increased heater life by reducing thermal shock.
There are five user-selectable temperature ranges: 0˚-250˚, 0˚-500˚, 0˚-1000˚, and 0˚-2000˚. Minimum and maximum setpoints can be established and set point ramping is configurable.
The intelliPANEL ™ system has the ability to monitor up to eight temperature inputs for any one of four conditions; Hi/Hi, Hi, Lo, and Lo/Lo alarms. The inteIIiPANEL ™ control panel offers eight temperature inputs which can be programmed for thermocouple or RTD sensor types. Temperature inputs in the intelliPANEL ™ system are configured in groups of four. Thermocouple inputs can be configured as Type J, K, or E. RTD inputs can be configured as either 100 ohm Platinum 385, 100 ohm 392, or 1000 ohm. The inteIIiPANEL ™ system supports both Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units along with up-scale or down- scale sensor burnout.
There are four programmable process interlocks with a text identification feature. The interlocks can be programmed for flow, pressure, time delay, or any variable required for your process.
All interlocks can be enabled or disabled and can be programmed for an open/closed logic state. Duty cycle, power in kilowatts, element resistance, time/ temperature, and ground fault monitor-
ing/trending values are also monitored.
